As a health coach with almost 20 years experience in with brainmindbody/neuroplastic approaches I help people understand the science behind chronic pain and apply simple, practical techniques. Together we aim calm the nervous system, reduce fear and help the brain move away from pain pathways using a technique known as Pain Reproccessing Therapy.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is one of the most researched mind-body approaches for chronic pain. In a landmark clinical trial published in JAMA Psychiatry, 66% of participants with longstanding chronic back pain were pain-free or nearly pain-free one year after treatment. Follow-up research suggests these improvements can be maintained for years. PRT helps people understand how the brain and nervous system can continue producing pain after tissues have healed and teaches practical techniques to help the brain learn safety again
My approach i combines the latest pain science with compassionate, personalised coaching. It aims to help you build confidence in your body and regain control of your life.
